Due Wednesday 4/25 (late post :( ) 9 and 11 on roots of complex number sheets (fifth roots of –243i and eighth roots of –8i) confirm using sum and product of roots that your answers are correct.
Due Monday 5/1 - Fractal project : using chaotifyme (google search for the site)
Use your personal fractal created in class
Describe: (1) how your fractal was created (you may want to translate the text in the program and relate it to your fractal. (2) the self-similarity in your fractal (3) the evolution of your fractal design (as the iterations and the number of letters increased, how did your fractal transform (4) a modern day use for fractal math (be specific)
Extra: find another fractal example and explain the similarity that exists.
You may submit your paper via google docs (judithanndolan) or print a copy and turn it in to me.

A graphing calculator is recommended, preferably a TI-84. Please do not purchase a Ti-nspire as they are significantly different.

Stuck on a problem: You may want to try http://www.wolframalpha.com Enter an equation and it will walk you through the solution. Make sure you understand all the steps. The important piece is not the final answer, but the work/process completed to get to the answer. You MUST show your work!
Test Corrections: Please use the test correction sheet. Hand in the corrections with the original test and a voucher by the designated due date. You may earn back, at most, 1/2 the points lost.
